Q: How far ahead should I book with you?
A: TODAY! ParrotDise Parties gets many requests every day. We recommend booking 1-2 months in advance, but if you've left your party until the last minute, call anyway because we might be able to squeeze you in.
Q: What forms of Payment does ParrotDise Parties Accept?
A: ParrotDise Parties accepts cash or certified cheques. We will allow schools, municipalities and certain businesses to pay by cheque as well. Please call for more information.
Q: Will you provide a free show for my charity event?
A: At ParrotDise Parties we donate our time to many charity events every year. We cannot guarantee that we will choose your event to be completely free due to the high volume of requests. Please contact us to find out more information.
Q: Why do you charge a travel fee?
A: ParrotDise Parties is required to pay its handlers for travel time and these costs start to add up. In order to maintain a profitable business we have to maintain these charges without exception.
Q: Can we hold the animals at a party?
A: While we leave it up to the discretion of the individual handler, you can expect to touch, hold or handle several animals during your show.
Q: What types of animals will come to our party?
A: Check out our event pages to see what types of animals will come to your show. If you want to request a certain animal attend, please let us know when you are booking.
Q: Is there anything I need to provide for the animals?
A: Make sure you have a camera ready for plenty of photo opportunities. Having some fruits or veggies available can also be a fun opportunity for people to feed some of the animals.
Q: Can I have my party outside?
A: We leave that decision up to our handler on the day of the show. With that in mind, it is usually acceptable to have shows outdoors during most of the warmer months. Please make sure some shade is available for the animals as well as your party-goers.
Q: Is there anything else I need to provide?
A: Please make sure that there is adequate parking and unloading space available. Some of our animals are very large and heavy so we want to be able to get as close as possible to unload everything.
